remember when Elon said he didn’t want to buy twitter cause of bot problems??? well, now REAL HUMANS are using OpenAI’s ChatGPT to automatically reply to tweets and even run their entire Twitter account!

Elon’s got a new bot problem on his hand, what next??? a $50 Twitter Gold subscription???

This all started with @levelsio on Twitter, when he tweeted a joke about his nomadic friends using a typical two-line meme format. Seven minutes later, Levels received a reply from an account with a display name Pragyan Tripathi.

The reply looked very suspicious to levelsio (he’s also been building products around chatGPT), so he decided to dig deeper into it, and into a rabbit hole, he went!

“I had a gut feeling but now I proved it,” Levels tweeted shortly after receiving the reply from Tripathi. “People now have A.I. bots running that use ChatGPT to automatically reply to people’s tweets.”

According to Levels’ tweets that document his workflow, he instructed ChatGPT to write a reply to his tweet about his nomadic friends, and the AI spat out a piece of text that was very similar to Tripathi’s reply. Levels also said he believed that all of the tweets on Tripathi’s account were generated using ChatGPT.

Then we wait and wait and waited some more for the Tripathi to confirm or dispose of the claim. Tensions were rising, you could hear a pin drop, twitter was brought to hold, and BOOOOM!!!

“Have been playing around with ChatGPT + Twitter API automation lately,” Tripathi wrote.

Solving the Billion Pesos Mystery!

tbh this one is just comedic, like seriously??? doctors’ handwritings are so bad we need a freaking billion-dollar company to fix it? naah I’m on the floor just rolling laughing!

During an address at the Google for India event, a senior executive said that the company is currently developing an AI model that will be able to decipher any kind of handwriting. Google has been in contact with pharmacists for research purposes and the feature will a part of Google Lens.

“This will act as an assistive technology for digitizing handwritten medical documents by augmenting the humans in the loop such as pharmacists, however, no decision will be made solely based on the output provided by this technology,” the company said in a statement according to TechCrunch.

The company did not announce any time frame for the launch of the feature but they made it clear that “much work still remains to be done before this system is ready for the real world.”

New AI can Predict Brain Cancer Outcomes

A recent study by York University researchers suggests an innovative AI technique they developed is considerably more effective than the human eye when it comes to predicting therapy outcomes in patients with brain metastases.

Previous studies have shown that using standard practices, such as MRI imaging, oncologists are able to predict treatment failure about 65% of the time. The researchers created and tested several AI models and their best one had an 83 percent accuracy.

now that right there is a MASSIVE improvement!

Obviously, more research is needed before this can even be tested on humans, the next would be to run the AI through a larger data set, and from there a clinical trial could be developed.
